school year freak-out #1
so, story goes…i won’t be in class next week because i’ll be on vacation in cali. i made sure with all my professors ahead of time that i wouldn’t be missing anything important that i couldn’t make-up or do early. well i went in to my history class on monday and the teacher handed out our essay assignment which is supposed to be due next wednesday. i have class on mondays and wednesdays and i suppose i assumed i would be able to hand it in to her sometime later this week before i left on sunday. well situation turns out that i can only turn the paper in on a day that we have class and the only day i will be in class until i leave is tomorrow.
so i have to write a paper that would have been due in 7 days, in 2.
meaning… my paper is due tomorrow at 9:35 in the morning. yayy. it’s actually not that terrible because it’s a short paper and it’s my specialty (essays) and i should be able to just spit it out really easily. but it still sucks the first essay of the semester i have to half-ass and i don’t get any time to edit it or anything. well i guess that’s something i’m willing to give up for my trip so sf. :P alright, back to my paper…
