life is such a fashion show. i realize this the more time i spend on campus and places with a lot of people. i don’t think it’s that people are shallow and believe appearances are important about a person, but it’s more so that your eyes are the first way you sense something (well along with smell i suppose) and so you use that visual image to create your first idea about anything. i think the way you or somebody looks says something about yourself or that person. not necessarily who you are as a person but more so how much you care or respect your body…which itself does say something about your character.
this does not apply for the blind.
